Limitations, boundaries, erstwhile dreams and unexpected perverseness

by Jacques on July 27, 2010

One day you wake up and you find that you have aged; aged beyond the limitations that you have set for yourself; aged beyond the boundaries of what you hoped was your reality and aged beyond the realms of your erstwhile dreams. You find yourself moving into unknown, yet quaintly familiar territory and the experience is bitter at first, bitter because it is unexpected to the point of perverseness and yet, as the taste of disappointment lingers on the sweet-spot of your tongue, it turns into a remarkable, mellifluous melody as the knowledge of besting your expectations dawns and manifests as the testimony to your victory over world-wide-all-inclusive apathy.
